Bartow History Museum will host its annual walking tour of Oak Hill Cemetery. This year’s tour will focus on people and stories from the Civil War. Participants on this walking tour will meet costumed interpreters who will bring to life some of the county’s interesting historical figures. The tour allows participants to learn more about the people and history of Bartow County while admiring the beauty of this historic cemetery. Presented in partnership with StageWorks, Inc., and sponsored by Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.
Tours begin at 5:00 p.m. and take place each half hour, with the final tour beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets must be purchased in advance at the Museum.
Tickets go on sale August 15 for BHM Members and August 29 to the public.
