The tour runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and is led by Dr. Keith Hebert of Auburn University and Dr. Donna Little of Reinhardt University\, highlighting local history from the decades preceding the creation of Bartow County. \nParticipants will visit an Adairsville cemetery connected to several American Revolutionary War veterans\, explore Pine Log Town\, a Cherokee settlement active during the Revolutionary era\, and learn about the regional impact of figures such as Colonel Benjamin Hawkins and Benjamin Adair. This two-hour session combines charm and learning as Valerie shares the traditions\, etiquette\, and secrets of hosting a perfect tea party. \nGuests will enjoy a beautiful tea service featuring a variety of teas\, classic sandwiches\, scones\, and sweet treats – all while picking up tips to create their own elegant tea gatherings at home. This event is open to all ages and makes a wonderful way to spend quality time with mothers\, daughters\, friends\, or family. \nSpace is limited\, so advance registration is required. \nAbout the Speaker \nDr. Valerie Holt is a Cartersville native with a lifelong passion for education and food. She spent 30 years teaching public school\, including 17 years in Home Economics\, and competed in national cooking competitions such as the Pillsbury Bake-Off\, National Cornbread Cook-Off\, and National Beef Cook-Off.
