DESCRIPTION:Inside Government: A Girl Scout Badge Program on Civic Understanding\nThe Bartow History Museum will host Inside Government\, a Girl Scout badge program designed to introduce participants to the structure and function of American government as part of the museum’s America 250 initiative\, commemorating the nation’s 250th anniversary through hands-on educational experiences. \nHave you ever wondered how government works or why laws are created? In this interactive program\, Girl Scouts will explore local\, state\, and national government\, learning about civic responsibility\, voting\, and the role of citizens in shaping their communities. \nParticipants will also have the opportunity to interview a local official and gain firsthand insight into how government operates in everyday life. Designed to fulfill badge requirements\, this program encourages civic engagement\, critical thinking\, and active participation in democracy\, while connecting the foundations of American government to its modern-day functions. \nSpace is limited and registration is required – reserve your spot today! \nAdmission:\n\nTickets for Girl Scouts are $20 and admission for parents/guardians is $9 (museum memberships apply to parents/guardians)\n\nGet Your Tickets Here
