DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Mother’s Day with an Elegant Morning Tea!\nTreat Mom (or yourself!) to a delightful morning at the Bartow History Museum with local author Valerie Holt leading a special Mother’s Day Tea. This two-hour session combines charm and learning as Valerie shares the traditions\, etiquette\, and secrets of hosting a perfect tea party. \nGuests will enjoy a beautiful tea service featuring a variety of teas\, classic sandwiches\, scones\, and sweet treats – all while picking up tips to create their own elegant tea gatherings at home. This event is open to all ages and makes a wonderful way to spend quality time with mothers\, daughters\, friends\, or family. \nSpace is limited\, so advance registration is required. \nAbout the Speaker \nDr. Valerie Holt is a Cartersville native with a lifelong passion for education and food. She spent 30 years teaching public school\, including 17 years in Home Economics\, and competed in national cooking competitions such as the Pillsbury Bake-Off\, National Cornbread Cook-Off\, and National Beef Cook-Off.
