Evening Lecture: Home Grown, Hand Made – A Fiber Arts Exhibit by Peachtree Handspinners and Etowah Valley Handspinners Guilds
September 26 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Discover Local Fiber Art at Our New Exhibit Opening!
The Peachtree Handspinners Guild and the Etowah Valley Handspinners Guild are joining us for the opening of Home Grown, Hand Made: A Fiber Arts Exhibit.
This exhibit will feature a variety of handspun textiles, including woven, knit, crocheted, and sewn pieces crafted from locally raised fibers.
For the lecture, a panel discussion will be led by a guild moderator, with artists sharing their techniques and experiences, answering questions, and demonstrating their tools. The Bartow History Museum’s permanent collection will also highlight the rich textile history of Cartersville and Bartow County.
The lecture is free for members and $9 for non-members.
