Georgia’s Jewish History

Join the Bartow History Museum on November 12 at noon for a presentation by Lindsay Resnick, Archivist at the William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum in Atlanta, Georgia.

Resnick will be discussing Jewish history and cultural heritage in the state of Georgia. Attendees can expect to learn more about the few Jewish communities in our region, and how they
preserved their unique identity within the wider scope of Southern culture.

Get to Know the Speaker

Headshot of Lindsay Resnick

Lindsay Resnick is the Archivist at the William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum in Atlanta, Georgia, serving in that capacity since 2015. Though a native of New York, Lindsay grew up in
Roswell, Georgia. She graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in History, Technology, and Society. She then earned her Master of Heritage Preservation with a concentration in Public History from Georgia State University in 2015. Lindsay has been a Certified Archivist since 2019 and has research interests in 20th Century Southern history, American religious history, and architectural and design history.
