Beyond the Pages of History

Bartow History Museum volunteer, Rebecca Melsheimer, will be discussing her work on transcribing the PMB Young Civil War letters in our collection. This lunch and learn will give a bit of background on the letters and the family that wrote them, and describe how archivists work to preserve and transcribe these paper artifacts. All of this will be interspersed with some of the stories the family shared with each other that will allow us to feel like part of the family.

This lecture is free for BHM members. $7 for not yet members.
