Spend the evening with Lauren S. Rhodes, learning about various aspects of  spiritual and religious practices that have come together to create a unique Gothic and folk culture in the Southeast and Appalachia respectively.

Lauren Storey Rhodes is a Bartow County native. She graduated from Cartersville High School in 2016, before moving to Statesboro, GA and attending Georgia Southern Univeristy where she obtained her B.S. in Public Relations and a minor in History. She joined the Bartow History Museum staff a member of the education team in October of 2020, and made BHM history when she married her husband on her lunch break on her very first day of work for the museum. Lauren now works as the Marketing Manager for the museum, and she currently resides in Cartersville with her husband, Cameron, and various house plants she stuggles to keep alive.
