In addition to the history of the cemeteries, Jennings also plans to discuss notable burials in each place, as well as the overall development and importance of city/ municipal cemeteries.

Get to Know the Speaker
Born and raised in Cartersville, Paige Jennings has a Bachelor’s degree in History with a certification in Public History from Kennesaw State University and a Master’s degree in Historic Preservation from Georgia State University. Paige previously interned at Oakland Cemetery with the Historic Oakland Foundation’s preservation team and now actively works in the field doing preservation professionally.
