Lights, Camera, Action! Bartow History Museum Hosts Movie-Making Summer Camp for Kids!
The Bartow History Museum is bringing the magic of movies to life with Movie Mania, a hands-on summer camp for children ages 8-12. Running June 23–27, 2025, from 9 AM to 12 PM, this exciting camp will introduce young filmmakers to the movie-making process, from brainstorming and storytelling to film production and editing.
Throughout the week, campers will participate in interactive activities and crafts, gaining hands-on experience in turning their creative ideas into short films. The camp will conclude with the world premiere of the BHM Campers’ short film, where participants will proudly showcase their work.
Registration is now open! The cost is $115 per camper, with a 10% discount available for museum members.
Spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
