Join the Etowah Valley Hand Spinners Guild as they demonstrate hand spinning yarns (with spinning wheels and hand spindles) at the Bartow History Museum!

The Etowah Valley Hand Spinners Guild is a group of local needlework enthusiasts who spin yarn from wool, mohair, cotton, silk and many other fibers. Please join us as we spin and discuss the history and processes of making yarn and fabric – especially using locally raised fibers. We will have examples of our handspun yarns and finished products that have been knit, woven, crocheted and embroidered. We look forward to talking with everyone about our yarns, dyes, fabrics and much more! Please join us!

Tickets for Spin-in: Fiber Arts are free for members, $7 for adults & $6 for children.
